Shalom Aleikhem ebed of Avinu Bashamayim, boker tov to all of you in the Mighty Shem of our Adonai and Moshia Yeshua HaMashiyach.
Let us pray. YHWH Avinu Eloheinu, in the Mighty Shem of our Adonai and Moshia Yeshua HaMashiyach, Modah Ani Lefanecha Melech Chai Veyakam, She-He-Chezarta Bee Nishmati B'chemla, raba Emunatecha. In the Mighty Shem of our Adonai and Moshia Yeshua HaMashiyach. Amen.
"...But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like" (Yaakov 1:22-24).
Yes, let us be doers of the Word, the Word that bring us hope and absolute Shalom. After all, the very Word says:" What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has Faith but does not have works? Can that Faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, "Shalom, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also, Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
But someone will say, “You have Faith and I have works.” Show me your Faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that Elohim {God} is One; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that Faith apart from works is useless? Was not Avraham justified by works when he offered up his son Yitz'chak on the altar? You see that Faith was active along with his works, and Faith was completed by his works; and the passage of the Tanakh was fulfilled that says, “Avraham believed YHWH, and it was counted to him as Righteousness”—and he was called a friend of YHWH. You see that a person is justified by works and not by Faith alone. And in the same way was not also Rachav the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also Faith apart from works is dead(Ya'akov 2:14-26)".
Kelim of YHWH Eloheinu Bashamayim, we are going to be doers of what we learn in the Holy Word, believe it and then do it. Let us be like Avraham!!!!
YHWH Avinu SheBashamayim Yeetkadesh Sheemka! Toda Avinu for Your message this morning, may You please help us to diligently study Your Holy Word daily and let us keep it in our hearts and mind, and practice it in our daily lives. YHWH ABBA please help us to demonstrate our Faith in You daily. In the Mighty Shem of our Adonai and Moshia Mashiyach Yeshua.
