Our Word for today says: "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the Faith and pierced themselves with many pangs" (1 Timothy 6:10).
How far are willing to go to acquire wealth? Are we so desperate to make money we do not mind selling our souls? Kelim of Avinu, today we are worshipping money as opposed to Worshipping our Creator YHWH Eloheinu. People today work on Shabbat, when it is a day set aside for pausing and dedicating ourselves to the One Who Created us, El Echad Bera'anu!! We are here today as living, breathing beings because He Is!! Yet we are so self-entitled that we somehow believe money is the one thing that will make us whole. How long do we think we can chase money and ultimately fill this empty hole inside of us? Yeshua Ha Mashiyach said it firmly in His Words when He said: “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve YHWH and money"(Matityahu Ha Levi 6:24). We have a choice to make, it's either we choose money or we choose YHWH, we cannot have both. Choose wisely ebed of YHWH!!!
YHWH Avinu SheBashamayim Yeetkadesh Sheemka, in the Mighty Shem of our Adonai and Moshia Yeshua HaMashiyach, toda ABBA for Your Message this morning. Eloah may You please help us and give us the spirit of discernment. YHWH Moshiek Vegoalech, please Save me from myself, for I am mere flesh and flesh is prone to sin, but You ABBA are El Elohe Haruchot Lecol Basar (B'midbar 16:22). We trust in You and no one else Avinu, in the Mighty Shem of our Adonai and Moshia Yeshua HaMashiyach. Amen.
